Rep. LeGeyt, legislators recognize Avon doctor

State Rep. Tim LeGeyt (R-Canton) recently presented a citation to Dr. Robert Greenstein on the floor of the House, in recognition of his years of service to the UConn Health Center.

Dr. Greenstein, an Avon resident, is retiring from his position as Director of the Division of Human Genetics. Under his capable and productive guidance, the division has researched and reported on the cause and hereditary nature of certain genetic conditions such as birth defects and mental retardation, among others.

“Dr. Greenstein was an original member of the team in the Division of Human Genetics, and provided a distinguished presence there through and up to the present day.  It was a privilege for me to be part of the ceremony of recognition and present a citation to Dr. Greenstein on the floor of the House of Representatives,” said Rep. LeGeyt.
